Mrs. Sommer Pope
My name is Sommer Pope and I am the Media Specialist at Lisenby Primary. I was born and raised in Ozark, where I attended school and graduated from Carroll High School in 2009. I attended Troy University where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education, K-6 in 2014. I went back to school and earned my Masters of Science in Library Media from the University of West Alabama in 2017. I enjoy hunting, reading, anything outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. I am married to Adam Pope and we have two children, Walt and Sutton.
The Lisenby Primary School Library Media program is to ensure that students, teachers and staff are effective and responsible users of ideas and information.
Book Care
Please encourage and help your child take care of library books when they are brought home. Keep food and pets away from books. If your child’s book is lost or damaged, there is a charge to replace it before other books can be checked out.
