About Lisenby Primary School

Lisenby Primary School was built in 1966 and is located at 860 Faust Avenue in Ozark, Alabama. Lisenby Primary School houses approximately 450 students per year in grades Pre-K through second grade. There are two pre-school classes, twenty-two regular classrooms in grades K-2, and four special education teachers who serve our students.

Lisenby has two speech pathologists, one music teacher, one media specialist, one reading coach, one math coach, two physical education teachers, three intervention teachers, a school counselor, two custodians, a lunchroom staff, and several paraprofessionals. The school administration includes a principal and one assistant principal. Lisenby is fortunate to have a media center and music classroom. Each classroom also contains Chromebooks/tablets for each student as well as an interactive panel.
